After the success of Momofuku, David Chang’s second restaurant, Momofuku Ssam Bar, opened in 2006. The name "ssam" alludes to Korean food that's wrapped in a tortilla or lettuce. There’s a simple daytime menu and then the offerings expand after 6pm. Try the to-die-for pork belly buns and the mouth-tingling preparation of Brussels sprouts in a mint and fish sauce. The dishes are unique and adventurous… note that this is not a place for vegetarians!
